"I was invited to an intentional painting group by Maasa. This is not an activity that I would normally willingly participate in, as I don't consider myself to be creative, or artistic, and feel embarrassed in these situations as self-doubt dominates my narrative. Pushing myself against my resistance, I decided this was as good of an opportunity for me to push my edges and feel discomfort. From the moment I arrived Maasa greeted me with a warm and pleasant welcome, inviting me to not worry, but to just try to create. Her repeated reassurance that "you can't do this wrong" helped me to get out of my head. I really enjoyed the guided meditation that opened the circle, I felt I was able to really relax listening to the gentle cadence of Maasa's voice and her lovely visual cues. I think this is another gift of hers. While I was fighting back the awkward feelings of not doing the painting right, or not knowing what to say my gifts were, I did definitely learn more about myself, and some areas I can work on. I do believe that this intentional creativity practice can be quite a powerful tool for people when they are ready and willing to submit to the process. It has given me some things to unpack and think about. Maasa was kind and gentle in all of her cues, and made me feel fully supported. Thank you for a beautiful time Maasa!"
"It was truly a spiritual treat to have done this work with Maasa.
We all went on a magical journey together that we were not expecting.
Maasa’s guidance in the meditation had a beautiful flow that made it easy and comfortable to follow. Her direction and her caring presence helped create a space where it felt safe to let your guard down and go for it !
I look so forward to doing much more of this in the future with Maasa."
"I was amazed to see what I was able to create with some sacred space and guidance. Maasa was well organized with her thoughts, direction, and supplies. I appreciated having a guide who had so deeply experienced the power of painting as a healing modality. I am inspired by Maasa’s courage to dive deeply into the mysteries of her own unfolding, and also to be able to be so transparent and raw with her sharing. Thank you Maasa. "

"I recently attended the Maasa's medicine basket intentional creativity session. Maasa was very welcoming and warm which helped me to unfold and relax. She invited us to look inward to see our gifts and I found her guided meditation was very helpful in connecting me with my unconscious. I very much enjoyed the process of painting my 'backpack' basket, naming my gifts and overarching intention. The process was so absorbing and meditative that 3 hours went by so very quickly. Thank you Maasa for holding this special sacred space, and leading us in learning more about ourselves, tapping into our intuition."
"I was blown away by my experience in Maasa's workshop. Maasa's passion for helping others uncover their personal gifts and strengths is amazing. As someone who feels very shy and vulnerable when it comes to creating art, I felt completely safe and nurtured during the whole process. The intention and sacred space that Maasa held throughout the workshop was deep and powerful and it really fostered a feeling of relaxation, joy and playfulness while uncovering and claiming my gifts to share with the world.
I can honestly say the painting process felt like the deepest therapy I have done and I am still in awe of it. Thank you so much for offering this course. It truly was the biggest gift""
"Awe dearheart Maasa that was such a nourishing enriching weekend that you held so exquisitely. From the beginning circle to the closing circle you took us through the 13 creative steps like an inspiring ceremony .. each of us emerging from our inner world and bursting beautifully into the outer world through our creations. Key to it all is YOU. Your authenticity, your vulnerability, your talent and inspiration. And your trust. How you entrusted us to our own inner muse.. by modelling your trust in the process and in your own inner muse. I am sooooo delighted that I got to share in this beautiful milestone with you. This is a wonderful thing , this gift of yours to the world. Thank you so very much .. Bless you."

Spending the day with Maasa opened up a new doorway into my self healing. As a creative and a yogi, the process Maasa guided us through really spoke to me. With tears of acceptance and giggles of understanding, I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the depths of intuitive creation. I was affirmed, inspired, and gently given more perspective and self reflection as to what subtle aspects of my personality may be driving my life unconsciously forward. I also had my love of painting rekindled!
Thank you so much Maasa!
Maasa skillfully led us through a deeply engaging visualization to help us release old patterns and stuck beliefs. She reinforced these shifts by having us paint, releasing the old, and reclaiming our gifts to carry into the present. Maasa made me feel safe and held in this sacred container. She is a compassionate facilitator. Thank you for this beautiful experience!

-Yaskuko Ikeda
